My current Company Country in TimeTrex is Costa Rica. In the Reports menu I see a Tax Reports option. When I generate that Generic Report will it provide the taxes withheld to the employees? Only for Taxes/Deductions set as Type Tax?
In Canada what information does it provide?
Thanks

Accrual Policies and Milestone Rollover
In Costa Rica, the Accrual for Sick Days gives employees 3 Paid Sick Days per year with no rollover. If an employee asks for more than 3 Sick Days per year they will be unpaid. If we used Calendar Based Type Accrual Policies, will there always be a Milestone Rollover (Employee Hire Date or User Spec...

He punched in on Sat from 11AM to 4PM, but that earning of his is not reflected when I generate his pay st...

Setting Up OverTime Policy
Our company will require an Overtime Policy to be set up for the weekends. Normal schedule is from M-F with 8 hour work days. The following is a schema of how the overtime would work: The employees regular time wage x 2, is setup in "Rate: 2". The issue comes with calculating the time. The...

Terminating Employees
I was interested in paying all of the benefits the employee is entitled after his termination date. This also includes some accrued time. How would you recommend I go about this task? How can I do this in one Pay Stub, or are two necessary because those additional termination earnings (accruals, etc...

I was wondering how many Pay Period Schedules TimeTrex allows to be used.
For example if some employees are payed Semi-Monthly and others on a Monthly basis or other combination of Pay Periods.
Thanks

Change a Holiday Date
I loaded the Recurring Holidays by Preset, afterwards the Cron Job added the Holidays that were in the 60 day time frame (maint/AddRecurringHoliday.php). The Holidays that were loaded can be seen in the TimeSheet (Below the Holiday Date). Is there a way to change those dates? That is because local l...

Deducting from a Tax/Deduction
I currently use TimeTrex in Costa Rica. The Income Tax Law has certain options in which the Income Tax deducted from an employee is reduced due to some "adjustments". This means if the employee pays 10,000 colones in taxes, it can be reduced to 9,000 when a tax adjustment criteria is met. ...

I won't use ROE for the Costa Rican Leaves. With your last post I can now have TimeTrex keep on paying the employees that are on Leave. There is still one more concern. In my first post I explained that part of the salary is payed by the employer and Social Security Administration. Does TimeTrex hav...

Maternity and Incapacity Leave
TimeTrex has a Record of Employment section. I have seen you can add a Maternity Leave (F) and Incapacity Leave(D). Is this ROE just to disable scheduling options and timesheet punches? How does this feature work. In my case I wish to add a Maternity Leave for one of my employees, is her wage going ...

Accrual Policy
I was adding an Accrual Policy for Costa Rican Vacations. Local law says it is 11 days/yr if you have 1 yr or less and 10 days/yr if you've worked more than a year. I used Calendar Based. The Frequency to Apply to Employee Record was set to Every Pay Period with a Minimum of Employed Days to 0. Roll...

There seems to be some code in TimeTrex that allowed Advance Payments to employees? Is this option not available? Are advances now made through Pay Stub Ammendments?
Thanks

With regards to your concern, if it lands on a Sat or Sun it will be passed to the next Mon, everytime a holiday is in weekend it goes to the following Monday. If it lands on a Monday it will be that Monday off, there is no pivot. I already coded this and could offer you a patch. There is also a bug...

I was setting up Holidays for Costa Rica and bumped into the type of Holidays TimeTrex has. *The Special Day are simple. *Static means every 10th of the month is a holiday? *Week Interval means every Wednesday of the 2nd week for example is a holiday? *How does Pivot Day work? Here in CR there the l...

Thanks Shaun for your explanation. I am really looking for a Salary, a fixed monthly income payed every 15 days, the 15th of every month and the last day of every month. Pay Stub Ammendment
I have seen Timetrex calculates an employees salary based on the work hours and hourly rate. If for example, an employee has a fixed montly salary, for example $1,600, he should earn $10/hr in a 40hr week and using a Semi-Monthly Pay Period (1-15,16-LastDayofMonth). There are months in which the fir...
