It is just a small alert box from Acrobat and all it says is: "Cannot extract the embedded font AAAAAD+FreeSerif. Some characters may not display or print correctly."

The problem is that even with the latest updates to Acrobat Pro 8, there is still the font problem.

I have found on one system with an updated Acrobat Reader it works. It seems to be a compatibility with older Acrobat.

This is running on a windows server.

3.2.0 is also not listed in the announcements. Is there a changlog somewhere?

That seems like quite an oversite. I cannot think of another product that does not include the opening balances. What is the point of entering them then?

So W2, W3, 1099, 941, 940 all have to be done manually for the first year? There seems to be enough data entered to make this work.

We started using TT at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. We entered opening balances for each employee for the 1st 3 quarters. We can see this data but it is excluded from the W2 and W3 totals.

In debug mode, the menu is missing. Without the menu, I cannot use the application and get the debug detasils from the report.

I am having the same problem with the 941 report. I have tried many different sequences and have pressed the Display Form each time but it never seems to save.

Cool, I had already performed the work around for that payroll. It also appears to affect the W2 and 941 forms. I am not getting the proper totals. It seems the taxes withheld are correct but not the wages.

Our initial payrol run is incorrectly calculating FUTA and SUTA for employees that have an initial balance greater than $7000.

Really need to resolve quickly.

Created Paystub ammendments for all employees and their balances are properly showing up on the paystubs.

Maybe better status messages or diagnostics would do the trick.

I am still not sure why it did not get processed as I only have one time zone.

Personally, I would categorize this as a bug. It is not intuitive to users to have to use certian dates like this. Very frustrating to track down issues like this.

The app has a lot of potential but there are a lot of usability issues that could help make this a superior product.

Changing the date to the 2nd day of the pay period fixed it.

Employees have been used to seeing their details printed on their check stubs. It would be nice to have a check format with that based on the NEBS DLT104 format.

What is the proper way to add additional federal withholding to an employee?
