Re: Inconsistent Rounding Policy between Standard & Demo
You appear to be using two different types of units when you're inputting the round interval. 00:15 (0hrs and 15 minutes) is much different from 0.15 hours. Please use a consistent Time Unit format (under MyAccount -> Preferences) when inputting time values. Thank you so much Shaunw. It works. My b...

Inconsistent Rounding Policy between Standard & Demo
Hello, Accessing demo.timetrex.com as admin and set the rounding policy to: 30min > In > Round type: 00:30 Grace period: 00:15. As expected, when I punch in at 8:15, it will be rounded to 8:00 and if punch in is 8:16, will be rounded to 8:30 etc. This is in the demo version at: http://demo.timetrex....

TimeTrex v5.0 will be a Rich Internet Application (RIA) which is essentially a hybrid web/desktop application that will be much faster in all aspects of data entry and usability. Its due to start public beta testing in the next few weeks. Ok, it is public, I am excited to test it right-away. Shaunw...

Customized Login.php
Hi, I have created a customized login.php where I've only required the employee number to be entered instead of both username and password. In this way,we can use an off-the-shelf barcode hardware for our needs. Please see the attached files. The employee will enter his/her employee_number then pres...

If anyone out there is interested, I answered my own questions with a bit of experimentation: I'd like to do so by importing it into and Eclipse PDT, PHP project, so that I can then run it interactively via xdebug and 'watch' it execute. Is this do-able? If so please outline the steps required. Yes...

Timesheet - 7:00:31 will appear as 7:01 on Timesheet
Hello Shaun, Good day, I am on the process of configuring TimeTrex as our punch in/out to replace our punch clock. In fact, I am successful, except for this little thing. I noticed that if an employee will log at this time: 7:00:31, that is, 7:00 AM/PM and 31 seconds, it will appear as 7:01 on the T...

Re: Premium Policy for Night Differential Shows Incorrect Result
Premium time is over paid out over and above regular time. So if the employee works an 8 hour day, they could have 16, 32, 1000 premium time hours being paid out as well. So since they get their regular time (and/or overtime) plus any premium, the premium policy is design to account for this automa...

Re: Total Monthly Gross for All payperiods except for monthly.
A simple Google search for something like "phillipines social security system semi-monthly withholding" returns many examples of people and software calculating SSS on a non-monthly basis. I don't see how this would frustrate your accounting department or the employees, like I said before...

Re: Total Monthly Gross for All payperiods except for monthly.
It would help if you could post a link to one or more documents that specifically state that calculations and deductions must only occur once per month and at no other time interval regardless of your current pay period schedule. I assume you are referring to the Philippine Social Security System (...

Total Monthly Gross for All payperiods except for monthly.
I think there is a need to know the monthly gross income of an employee. Currently, I can't see any way to determine the total monthly gross of an employee at least for this version Standard 3.0.6 except of course if the pay period is monthly. All pay periods except monthly, have no way to automatic...

I don't follow you at all, in your first post the bracket was 7500-9500, now you are talking 8,958 and 13,542. The 7500-9500 range is one example. I have just tested a different value with the same $amount=$min_wage. In order to figure out whats going on, you should disable/delete all brackets exce...

I have a tax calculation of 8 brackets for each employee based on Advanced Percent (Tax Bracket Alternate) calculation type. Re: Adding new Income Tax formulas for different countries.
Okay, I think its because your annual deduction amount is too high. That value is designed to reduce the employees taxable income by that amount. In the US this would be used as an allowance for the number of children you have or something. So setting it to 52500 basically means the employee must m...
