It shouldn't be a problem to remove the Generate Pay Stubs button, I believe that is only accessible to employees with "Pay Stub -> Edit" and/or "Pay Stub -> View" permissions.

I received an update from my colleague who spoke with you, he mentioned that setting "enable_display = FALSE" in your timetrex.ini.php under [debug] allowed the web-based installer to complete and you are up and running again as normal. Enjoy!

Unfortunately that log only shows this afternoon, could you please attach a copy of the log file that covers the time range of when the upgrade took place? That should hopefully show the actual error that prevented the upgrade from completely successfully.

Normally it would by default, but its configurable under the "Form Setup" tab of both the Remittance Summary report and the T4 report, so you would need to check your specific setup.

Sorry, the exact name is Database.inc.php, it's in the same directory as global.inc.php.

For some reason it seems like the TimeTrex files got updated to the latest version but the database hasn't been upgraded...

Can you also attach a copy of the includes/global.inc.php file from inside the TimeTrex directory?

The "Show Wages" icon has no affect on the pay stub or anything else for that matter, so it was likely just a case of the pay stub not being regenerated after the punches/wages were modified.
