Re: Upgrade completed unable to login

It appears as though you may have attempted an upgrade from an earlier version of TimeTrex of never fully completed it, as the database schema wasn't upgraded. Try setting installer_enabled=true in the timetrex.ini.php file and run the web-based installer again (install/install.php), that should fix...

You will need to download it and host it on your own server.

Re: New Policy

What you are looking for is a Transfer punch, which allows employees to switch between jobs/tasks. TimeTrex Community Edition allows employees to transfer between Branches and Departments, however if you want additional fine grained tracking of job/tasks you would need to upgrade to TimeTrex Corpora...

Did you install TimeTrex on a different computer by chance? If so, you may need to go to that computer and uninstall it from there.

Re: Use Mac Address Instead of Station ID or Ip Address

Unfortunately MAC addresses aren't visible across network routers and therefore can't be used on the public internet. Even if this did work, if an employee is dishonest enough they could simply have another employee punch them in/out on that device anyways. The only way to ensure that employees are ...

Re: Get summary of weekly, monthly, and anual hours worked?

Correct, TimeTrex has a report that will get you exactly what you want, however you don't have access to it either through the interface or through the API.

Unfortunately your employer hasn't provided you with access to see such reports, you would need to contact them to request the information you are looking for instead.

Yes, using IP address instead is recommended, however only if the IP address is static and won't also change at some random point in future.

Re: Get summary of weekly, monthly, and anual hours worked?

In the menu along the top of the screen do you have access to Report -> TimeSheet Reports -> TimeSheet Summary? If so, you should be able to run that report to get the information you are looking for.

Re: Struggling to Find Station ID

The easiest way is to physically go to those computers and login as an administrator, click Attendance -> In/Out, then click Cancel (this initializes the station if it isn't already), then go to Company -> Stations, and in the Basic Search tab, there is a target icon beside the "Station" f...

Re: Migrating Older Version to New Server

Unfortunately we don't have a copy of that version available for download, so you have two options: 1. Upgrade old server to latest version. 2. Manually migrate database to new server with latest version. In the restore.bat file there is a commented out line (REM) that can be used to import SQL dump...

TimeTrex does not support hardware timeclocks out-of-the-box.

The paid editions do support the TimeTrex mobile app which offers biometric facial recognition, QRCodes, and ID/Password identification methods though. For more information please see: https://www.timetrex.com/timeclock

Re: Database Connection

So the version check failed means a connection to the database worked, the PostgreSQL version you are using is just too old. You will notice at the top of our CentOS v7 installation instructions: https://www.timetrex.com/how-to-install-timetrex-on-linux-centos , that out-of-the-box CentOS v7 is too ...
