Re: Slow message processing
Your TimeTrex is unable to communicate with the update/notification server at https://www.timetrex.com, so it eventually gives up after 15 seconds or so and continues. You should make sure your TimeTrex server is able to communicate freely with www.timetrex.com to avoid such issues.

Re: CSRF invalid token
Ya, the root problem is with cookies not working properly and not the CSRF functionality itself.
What URL do you use to access TimeTrex, and what is the 'hostname' setting under the [other] section in your timetrex.ini.php file set too?

Re: CSRF invalid token
That is usually caused by your web browser not saving cookies from TimeTrex.
You can set: "enable_csrf_validation = FALSE" to turn off CSRF validation at least to test, though its not recommended to leave off for security reasons.

Ok, the issue should be resolved now then.
When the next version is released, if you happen to run into the problem again, let us know.

Re: Automatic Upgrade Failing
You will need to restore it from your backup, or re-run the Windows installer (.EXE) for v15.3.3 of TimeTrex then.

Re: Automatic Upgrade Failing
It seems to replace the apache conf files to default, so my port settings and SSL stuff is all incorrect. After I replace those files, it seems to be fine. All my data is there, etc. If you run the full stack installer (.EXE), that is correct it replaces any changes you have made to Apache/PHP/Post...

DBError(0) Message: postgres9 error: [0: Missing extension for postgres] in CONNECT() That appears to be the error message, which is quite strange since I assume TimeTrex works fine after a manual upgrade, but then stops working after an automatic upgrade is attempted? If TimeTrex is currently work...

You mentioned you only process payroll once per quarter, but then you said gross wage for the month is $13,500. That doesn't make sense, can you please clarify?

Re: TimeTrex installation help
You can try connecting to "psql" without first using "su postgres", as that is closer to what TimeTrex is doing, and it should give you immediate feedback as to the error.

Re: Moving TimeTrex from one PC to another
Due to the differences of each Linux distribution and version of such, we do not have specific instructions on how to migrate TimeTrex from one server to another. We have those on Windows only when our specific installer is used, therefore the instructions are consistent across all Windows versions....

The exception emails also appear as notifications within TimeTrex too, so they would see them when they login even if they don't have email addresses.

Re: Extend Time Sheet Verification Window End
WHY would it have instructions to set the button view for X days before the transaction date if it was not an option? It should be able to extend out at least 2 days (our cut off) after the period ends, before the transaction date, without having to click back into that period. You can set the veri...

Re: Extend Time Sheet Verification Window End
The TimeSheet verify button only appears when the employee is looking at the proper pay period that needs to be verified. Depending on your pay period dates and the employees calendar preferences, they may need to click to view the prior week to see the verify button. This is intentional and changin...

Re: TimeTrex installation help
Either your username/password is incorrect, or PostgreSQL is not listening for connections the way you are expecting. Try all of the following for the Host Name setting: localhost 127.0.0.1 '' The last one is two single quotes, which should force it to use a local unix socket connection. Unless the ...

Re: 2 emails that I keep receiving about maintenance jobs and hostname
The first step would be to figure out which copy you are actually using, and uninstall the other one, making sure not to delete the database if they happen to be sharing the same one. Having good backups before making such changes is highly recommended. You may want to consider purchasing a Professi...

Re: 2 emails that I keep receiving about maintenance jobs and hostname
So you definitely installed one copy at least using the .DEB file which places TimeTrex files in the /usr directory. If you have TimeTrex in /var/www/html as well, that is likely the .ZIP file installation, which makes two copies.

Re: 2 emails that I keep receiving about maintenance jobs and hostname
You will want to use "dpkg -l" to see if the .DEB is installed in addition to the .ZIP file.
