It depends on how you installed PHP to begin with.

If you used the default PHP installer it asks you during the installation procedure how you want to install PHP, as a CGI or as a module.

The reason these employees aren't accruing time is because their hire date is in the future, so TimeTrex correctly thinks they haven't been employed long enough to meet the first milestone requirements.

Are you running PHP in CGI mode with IIS? If so, try running it as a module instead.

TimeTrex doesn't require anything fancy. Operating system wise we recommend whatever you are most comfortable with, other than that the latest version of both PHP and Apache are always your best bet. TimeTrex doesn't require Java so that isn't needed. Keep in mind you always have the option to go wi...

Even though we don't recommend using TimeTrex in a shared hosting environment, you could try: http://www.netnation.com We have worked with them in the past some, and they are an excellent hosting provider. Of course you will want to confirm you can install TimeTrex on their servers before you go wit...

You may want to hold off until TimeTrex v2.0 beta is released (hopefully early next week), as it includes major changes affecting the majority of the code, so any changes you make to v1.6.x probably won't carry over to v2.0 without a lot of additional work.

Can you email support@timetrex.com a SQL dump from your database so we can try some diagnostics on our end here?

Also please include the exact user names and accrual policy that you feel is not working correctly.

PHP's PEAR package is not installed. TimeTrex requires PEAR to be installed. On Windows PHP includes a file called go-pear.bat that you can use to install PEAR.

On the day that you think their should be overtime, click on one of the punches (doesn't matter which) so the Edit Punch window opens. Then change debug verbosity to 11 in your timetrex.ini.php, then go back and press the Submit button on the Edit Punch page. This should output debug text to the scr...

The only other thing I can suggest is make sure that the files in your TimeTrex cache directory are all owned by your web server user, and that your cron job for TimeTrex is running as your web server user (NOT ROOT).

You only need to re-calculate employees when you change policies and want to apply them retroactively, or in a few rare other cases. TimeTrex automatically applies the policies going forward, so you don't need to recalculate under normal circumstances, and definitely not each day. The "..."...

Did you recalculate employees timesheet after you setup the exception policy? TimeTrex does not retroactively apply policies, so you need to recalculate employee...

Did you recalculate the employees timesheet after you set/changed the overtime policy? Policies are not applied retroactively unless you do this.

On their timesheet, at the bottom right there is a drop down box where you can recalculate each employee, or the entire company at once.

The file looks fine. So if you go through the installer again, you should get to the Database Config page and when you press Next you get a screen with all kinds of debug info on it.

Are you seeing this?

If you are still seeing the down for maintenance page it must be failing at some other point.

The way it works is debug verbosity setting of 11 tells TimeTrex not to redirect you to other pages. So when its set to 11 you won't be able to get past any page, which you are currently seeing by not being able to get past the license page. However, when you get to the database config page, by enab...
