The recurring schedule module was redesigned in TimeTrex v9.0 and the auto-punch feature never made it back into the Community Edition. It is however still available in the commercial versions of TimeTrex.

It's likely that the employee created a bookmark specifying a date range that is defaulted to when they are logged in.

To resolve the issue have the employee experiencing the problem click MyAccount -> Log Out and then save the resulting Login Screen as a bookmark.
