When to upgrade? Release notes?

Do you guys post some kind of release notes when you come out with a new version?

For example, I upgraded to 3.0.4 earlier this month, and I see (from the little red flag on the Help Menu) that a new versions exists.

So, I ask myself what is new about it, and do I really care enough to upgrade?

Is there a place on your website where you post Version history/feature/bug-fix information? It would be very useful if there was a quick link where I could read about the latest version to know if I want to upgrade. Is there such a thing? It could even be in one of these forums, like your news forum... but I haven't found it yet.

Thanks,
Andrew

OK, that is helpful. Based on what I see, I don't need to upgrade from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 for use on a linux server.

A little more info would be good... the entries there talk about features, but not about critical bug fixes (maybe there never have been any?). Anyway, there should be a place that discusses reasons why one should upgrade or not upgrade, or things that will change if one does upgrade. For example, one needs to know to edit the default values of a new parameter that will affect things. For example, after an upgrade, shifts were limited to 16 hours, instead of being unlimited. I had to find and change the newer 16 hour default value.

Just a suggestion....

We appreciate your suggestions, I will make note of them.

We recommend that you always upgrade to the latest version, doing so usually only takes a few minutes.
