IE can't display the page

Post by earth17 »

I was using timetrex 5.2.3 just fine up until 4/1/13 so I thought I would upgrade to 5.3.2 and when I ran the install it came up "Error running C:/TimeTrex?postresql/scripts/serviceinstall.bat INSTALL : 'net' is not recognized as an internal or external comand, operable program or batch file. Then, it finishes installing and works fine for 1 or 2 logins then it goes back to ie can't display this page.

I am using Windows 7. I have tried restarting the machine. it now says TimeTrex is unable to connect to its database, please make sure that the database service on your own local TimeTrex server has been started and is running. If you are unsure, try rebooting your server.

It sounds like your PATH environment variable has been modified to something non-standard, please see this URL for more information.

You will need to correct this before TimeTrex will be able to install properly.
