into a terminal, this return

Re: "Syntax error: "(" unexpected" on LINUX install
Try downloading the latest version (v7.0.2) and see if that makes any difference.
Re: "Syntax error: "(" unexpected" on LINUX install
Where is the link to download this version?
http://www.timetrex.com/onsite_communit ... p=download

Re: "Syntax error: "(" unexpected" on LINUX install
That link should send you to v7.0.2, perhaps try clearing your browser cache and trying again?

Re: "Syntax error: "(" unexpected" on LINUX install
If you are using Ubuntu, we highly recommend installing from the .ZIP manually, as the automated installer installs its own versions of Apache, PHP, PostgreSQL which Ubuntu comes bundled with anyways, and in some cases it can cause conflicts.
However, if you run:
chmod +x TimeTrex_Community_Edition_v7.0.2-linux-installer.bin
./TimeTrex_Community_Edition_v7.0.2-linux-installer.bin
It should execute properly without that error.

./TimeTrex_Community_Edition_v7.0.2-linux-installer.bin

¡Yes!
For any reason chmod -x don't work, but chmod 777 solved the problem.
Thank you, shaunw.
