French ?

Post by fred »

Before installing Version 3.0 (Using 2.2.0) The french version was working and most of components were translated.ç
Now with version 3.0, the only component in french is the login page. All the rest of the software display in English

Other languanges : German, Italian, portugese are working fine.

Is there anyone out there using French, or this language is not properly showing in this update ?

What operating system are you running TimeTrex on? How did you install TimeTrex?

Are you changing the language just on the login page, or under MyAccount -> Preferences too?

You will need to enabled debugging with verbosity level 10 as per this FAQ entry:
http://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=89

Then go to the TimeTrex interface Home page, and copy & paste the debug output at the bottom of the page here.

I passed this on to our developers, it should be corrected for v3.0.3 of TimeTrex.

Thank's you Shaun !

I upgraded to 3.0.3 and French is now working.
The only issue is that special carracter : Éé Èè Àa are not showing.

For exemple : La priode prcdente de salaire exige la vrification !

Should display has :
La période précédente de salaire exige la vérification !

Does Timetrexs doesn't support theses special caracters or a local setting should be changed ?

TimeTrex does support special characters, however the French translation appears to be in need of some updating.

English is the only official language that we support, all other languages are community supported, therefore I urge you to help make corrections at the following URL:
