Custom Field in Admin Reports

We have a custom field to categorize employees as Management, Non-Management etc.

When pulling out a Wage report, I would like to GROUP based on this custom field. How can I achieve this?

Setup employee groups for Management/Non-Management and use them to filter in the reports filter criteria.
