Migrating Timetrex MYSQL database to POSTGRESQL

I tried to migrate MYSQL to POSTGRESQL with no success at all. I installed Postgess-8.4 on Debian-6.0.5-amd64 and I also installed phpmyadmin, phppgadmin. I did everything possible to migrate my MYSQL database to POSTGRESQL please suggest me where am I going wrong. I have read several posts in the forum related to similar issue but that did not solve my problem. Your guidance would be highly appreciated.
