Manual Extra day.

Post by jairo »

Hello all,

I want to know if there are a way to assign to an employee double time manually.

Let me explain.

For example if some employee is taking a free day, and is called to get to work because of personnel demand, that employee must be
payed as doble time.

Thank you.

Create a Premium Policy and then a Schedule Policy for double-time and then assign the Premium Policy to the Schedule Policy.

You can manually create a Schedule by clicking Attendance -> TimeSheet icon, choosing the Employee from the drop-down box and then clicking the Schedule icon. From here click a Schedule cell under the appropriate day, then the New icon, and choose the double-time Schedule Policy you created from the Schedule Policy drop-down box and any other settings required such as In/Out times. Once the Schedule is created the employee can punch In/Out as normal.

Instead of the method mentioned above you may want to use a Over Schedule (Daily) / No Schedule Overtime Policy which calculates a higher rate of pay (double-time for example) if an employee works on a day they aren't scheduled to.
