OT - Timing to be recorded seperately but base rate is paid.

Post by gc3 »

Hi,

There are few levels in my organisation that are not eligible for extra OT pay, however, management still wants the OT timings to be separated in the pay stub. OT is paid at base rate only.

For eg: If A has worked for 12 hours and his base rate is 10 per hour, his paystub should look like:

Earnings:
Regular time : 80 $
Overtime 1 : 40 $

Is this possible ? I am just a week old in using this software & I am using community version 8.0.9 on win 7.

Thanks

Yes, you can set the rate of pay for any pay code to whatever you want. So you could have "overtime" that is paid at the employees regular rate of 1.0x, or you could have "overtime" that is paid at 1.5x, or 2.0x, or anything that you wish.

See the Administrator Guide for more information on Pay Codes:
https://help.timetrex.com/index.php?tit ... #Pay_Codes

and Pay Formulas:

Also different employees can be assigned to different overtime policies through Policy -> Policy Groups.

Hi,

I read all the manuals but still not able to do it. I would be really grateful if you could guide me step by step to do it. We used another software for a month but didn't like it. We like the layout of Time trex. Pl help.

All I want to do it change the rate of OT to base rate or regular rate and not *2.

Thanks in advance.
