Is there any way to limit a maximum punch out time regardless of how many hours have been worked for such day?
Let's suppose no one can punch out after 7pm (actually it's possible, but the punch out time should be rounded to 7pm).
Example (for these example's sake let's disregard the lunch punches):
normal in: 10 am
normal out: 6 pm
No problems here
normal in: 10 am
normal out: 7 pm
Where still good
normal in: 10 am
normal out: 8 pm
Ops! It should be rounded to 7pm
normal in: 4 pm
normal out: 8 pm
It also should be round to 7pm. I don't care how many hours were worked
By the way, I'm running Timetrex 9.0.6.
Thanks.

Re: Maximum punch out time
A Rounding Policy rounding Normal Out punches Down to the nearest hour (01:00) Interval should meet your needs.

Re: Maximum punch out time
Thanks for the reply, but I believe this approach would work only if the user worked till 7:59pm in my example. If the user worked till 9:40pm for instance, I believe the time would be rounded to 9pm, right? I would still want to have it rounded to 7pm.
Thanks,
Jodevan.

Re: Maximum punch out time
I apologize for the misunderstanding. If you schedule your employees in TimeTrex you should be able to resolve your issue by enabling the Strict Schedule feature in the Rounding Policy.

Re: Maximum punch out time
No problems at all. At a glance, it seems to be what I really need.
Thank you!
