retroactive wages

Post by macbeth »

What is the best way to adjust wages retroactively. One girl was making $10.60 effective since her hire date Nov 19/2015. Wages increased to $10.70 on April 1/2016 but for some reason the system kept calculating her pay at $10.60 which I didn't notice til last pay period. I think it's working properly now as I just printed her paystub for this pay period at $10.70. What is the best way to make this right and pay her the .10 per hour that is owed to her since April 1, 2016? Thanks

As April 1, 2016 is too far in the past to make timesheet adjustments we recommend creating a Pay Stub Amendment for the amount owed to the employee with an Effective Date in the current Pay Period. To create the Pay Stub Amendment click Payroll -> Pay Stub Amendments, click the New icon.

For more information please see the Pay Stub Amendments section of the TimeTrex Administrator Guide:
