Employee details editing failing

Because of the hurricane we have no power and no communication. We turn on the generator to energize the server. Trying to edit employee settings like address, etc. As soon as any field is change a 'Processing' pop up window comes up and stays indefinitely. Also, no matter what is put it always says email address invalid and will not allow saving. Is the server trying to use the internet to check or send something back to timetrex and failing? If so, for obvious reasons need a way to disable the internet access requirement.

TimeTrex tries to check to verify that the domain name used in the email address can be resolved, otherwise it considers it to be a invalid email address. If you were to clear out the email address completely, it would likely allow you to save it.

Yes, but erasing it requires remembering later to go back and add it. Can this check be disabled? If not can you indicate which php file has the script to disable it in the code. Any other checks that require internet?
