TimeTrex not starting up

Post by rjandreski »

When any user attempts to start up TimeTrex this morning, it redirects to http://timeclock:8085/html5/DownForMain ... on=DBError

I restarted the server and same result. Everything was working fine on Friday.

I did notice that the server was extremely low on hard drive storage so I freed up some space.

Need help resolving this. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I also do have our backup that was created with Acronis Backup that we use from Saturday morning that I can use to restore from. Thank you.

The closest resolution that I found that had the "DownForMaintenance.php?exception=DBError" was from 2008 which is now 10 years old so I'm not confident that this resolution will help me. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=729&p=3445&hilit=Do ... rror#p3445

Please let me know what I need to do to resolve this.

Our most recent database files in the C:\TimeTrex folder are as follows:

timetrex_database_20181202.sql - 1 KB

timetrex_database_20181201.sql - 4,590 KB

timetrex_database_20181130.sql - 4,583 KB

Please attach a copy of TimeTrex log file (c:\timetrex\timetrex\log) here from, it should contain the exact error message.

I've restore from Acronis backup before the issue began. Everything is working fine at this time.
