To schedule start

Post by jfbonne »

Hello room,

I'm very new with Timetrex, I've downloaded and installed the community edition to test it.

I read in the 'Rounding Policies' help that
For strict rounding to work, the employee must be scheduled on that day and have a Schedule Policy assigned to their schedule that defines the proper Start/Stop Window. For example: If an employee is scheduled to start their shift at 8:00 AM, and they punch in at 7:48 AM, but Strict Schedule is enabled, TimeTrex will record the punch time as their schedule time of 8:00 AM
That's exactly what I need, however I don't understand "an employee is scheduled to start their shift at 8:00 AM" and I don't know how to do that.

How to indicates in Timetrex that my employees usually always (every day) start at 8AM to 12AM, then 2PM to 6PM for example?

Thank you for your help! :D
