Is this a new install or an existing installation that recently stopped working?

OK I'll post this for others to see if they have this experience.
After the previous week's payroll run I was traveling and the pay Stubs and Pay period for that week were left open until I returned, found those messages, closed them, and entered a new week's payroll.
This morning I closed the most recent ones and the messages cleared away.
I find the message wording to be uninformative considering the manual marking of Pay Stubs as 'Paid' and the manual marking of a Pay Period as 'Closed' was the fix. Unless there's a task I should run or and automatic task should be set up to deal with these chores. However all is good now. Thanks for your time.

If the error message you received was in fact: "Warning: Critical Maintenance Jobs have not run in the last 48hours", then it has nothing to do with marking pay stubs as paid or closing pay periods. My guess is that whatever the problem was that was the causing the original message resolved itself some other way.

You are correct. The next time I started a new connection to the server, it returned.
So How do I track what it is complaining about?

You would need to enable logging as per the following FAQ, then next time the issue happens there would be detailed information in the log file if its related to TimeTrex that is.
