Hi,

I created a test user for my account.
I ran payroll and cannot undo the payroll period now.

Which tables do I need to clear to undo it?

Thanks!

No need to modify tables directly, nor is it recommended as you will certainly break things. You can undo anything you want from the user interface.

Instead please provide specifics as to what you are trying to do, and what error messages you are receiving.

I ran payroll on a test employee in my new environment and I cannot undo it now.
I am trying to unlock the payroll period and undo my mistake.
I get message "Status can only be changed form closed to post adjustment."

Any suggestions to be able to test payroll runs and undo it?
I am still learning the system and functionality to see if it is a fit for my needs.

Edit the Pay Period and set the status to "Post Adjustment", that allows you to do everything that you need to as if its "Open".

Ok Thanks!

Any other big no, no for me when testing out the platform?
Any undoable changes?
I may continue using my test install as production.

You can undo pretty much everything, it just takes a bit of effort in some cases. If you are doing extensive testing you may want to plan on doing a fresh install and starting fresh once you are done.
