Recurring Schedules - Community Edition

I found a 2006 post that states: "With the Community Edition recurring schedules can only be assigned directly to employees."

Is there a way to setup and recurring schedule for an employee as this states? If so, can you refer me to a guide that states how or provide those instructions please.

The post you were referring to was speaking directly about "Open Shift Scheduling", where schedules are not assigned directly to employees, but instead to branches or departments.

Please see the Administrator Guide on how to use the Recurring Schedule feature to schedule employees directly.
