Hello. How do I set up a policy so that the following situation will occur on day by day basis:
Example Employee Wage is 10/hr:
Employee Works 9 hrs of: 8 regular time, 1 overtime (x1.5 rate)
Employee gets pay stub amendment: $10.00
How can I set up polices that will calculate a "regular rate of pay" = 8 x 10 = 80 + 1 x 15 = 95 as well as the $10 from ammendment totaling $105 which is equal to 105/9 = 11.67 effective rate
then compare to $12hr min which would trigger a premium of $2.97
can this be accomplished?

Re: Setting Up Polices
Can you please provide more details as to what the actual real-world scenario is that you are working with and what the $10 amendment is?
Re: Setting Up Polices
Yes so basically the amendment is a misc entry that only reports tips paid for tax purpose (it doesnt add to their paychecks).
In Colorado the min wage is 12/hr but you are allowed to take 3.02/hr credit for tipped employees. In this unlikely scenario but possible, suppose an employee works an 8 hr day with (8 * 8.98 = $71.84) The other $3.02/hr difference has to be made up through tips. So in this case if an employee only made $16 in tips which is entered as this amendment, we as the employer have the responsibility to give the employee the difference (in this case) $8.16.

Unfortunately TimeTrex does not have that functionality at this time.
