TimeTrex Time and Attendance

Is it possible when employees self punch through web as they are working remotely to limit punch to actual time. I know actual is stored with punch, but not used for calculations.

Not sure I understand your question, but the only real reason why the punch time would be different than the actual time is due to the rounding policy. So if you disabled your rounding policies, the two would match.

See image. Notice current time is 10:58 AM, but punch time can be set by user. It is showing 12:00 though that is not current time, but user could change to any value.

It appears that you have given employees access to manually enter their own punches, therefore they can enter anytime that they wish when adding/editing punches directly on the timesheet. If they want to do a real-time punch, they can use Attendance -> In/Out in the menu along the top, and that will use the current wall-clock time instead.

If you prefer to disable the ability for them to use anytime they wish, you will need to change their permissions back to the default "Regular Employee (Punch In/Out)" permission group instead.
