Only new features are listed on the changelog though.

5.0.1 is the last

Correct, because only new features are listed in the changelog, so if there aren't any new features added to a release (which if only the last number in the version changes, its usually just bugfixes) then the changelog isn't updated.

We always recommend upgrading to the latest version of TimeTrex whenever possible.

I noticed that an updated GUI in beta is mentioned, but I see no difference. Is there an option to enable this new GUI?
