WARNING: TimeTrex

Post by beginner »

Hi,

we are using Timetrex 7.1.2 Community Edition and everything works fine except one small thing.
Every Monday we get this error message: WARNING: TimeTrex system requirement check has failed! Please contact your TimeTrex administrator immediately to re-run the TimeTrex installer to correct the issue

Please can you tell us how to fix this trouble definitively, thanks

Regards

Did you install TimeTrex from the manual .ZIP file by chance?

What was the full and exact line you added to cron to run the maintenance jobs?

It doesn't appear that you are using the correct command, as that command is not being run as the "www-data" user, therefore causing a permission conflict.

You will need to go back to the following page of the installer and follow the instructions there:
/interface/install/MaintenanceJobs.php

I also have questions on the ultimate solution to this issue. I too am having this message appear weekly.

To make the message go away I must enable install mode. I don't even need to run the install again...I simply run the done.php and the message goes away. But it comes back every week. When I do run the install again it always checks out fine, no errors.

File permissions seem to be accurate, as far as I can tell. Running install_cron tells me that the cron job is already in the crontab.
On top of that I've followed instructions at /interface/install/MaintenanceJobs.php and manually added an entry to my crontab, replacing www-data with apache, since I have verified that should be what my web server is running as.

I am not sure what is being missed.
