No Employee Groups

Post by mtlhead089 »

To put it simply; I am unable to create Employee Groups.

I go to Admin > Company > Employee Groups

Click on Add

Parent is set to 'Root' & I enter 'Test1' and click on the 'Submit' button. The screen is refreshed but no Employee group.

I have looked but cannot find any errors with the installation or mysql db.

Does anyone have any idea on this as from what I read Employee Groups is what I need.

TimeTrex v2.1.3
PHP v5.1.6
OS CentOS v5
Apache v2.2.3

I setup the debug settings as requested and restarted Apache.
I attempted to go to timetrex and received the following error;

(mysqlt): SET SESSION sql_mode='ansi'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(mysqlt): SET SESSION time_zone='GMT'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fatal error: Call to a member function getId() on a non-object in /usr/local/src/timetrex/interface/index.php on line 54

Is this a fresh install of TimeTrex?

Chances are there may be something wrong with your database, if possible I would try re-installing TimeTrex on a fresh database and see if the problem keeps happening.

Move to Install forum

This thread is now dead.

I decided to start from scratch and spend this weekend getting this going. This has to be going this weekend or I will have to end evaluation of this. Today I saw that there is a new version. Guess what, there is install problems.
