Why do I have to enable Intranet settings

Post by blooming »

Hi
I downloaded the Community TimeTrex and unless I believe I have to enable Intranet settings I am unable to load the TimeTrex without a Network Timeout. Any help? Also, how secure is this version of the software?

It may be necessary to enable intranet settings if you are using Internet Explorer and have installed TimeTrex on your local network. This does not reduce the security of TimeTrex or your system whatsoever.

Ok Thanks, but now I have enabled Intranet settings and it still is timing out in the Network. It actually says Network Timeout.

Network timeout is usually caused by an incorrect configuration/installation. What was the name of the file you used to install TimeTrex with originally?
