MySQL not recommended?

Post by danh »

Hello, I've been playing around with Timetrex, installed a couple different versions. I installed an older version today (7.4.8 maybe) and I noticed it said that MySQL wasn't recommended for 25+ users. I don't recall seeing that message when installing 8.0.4 or anywhere on their website (FAQs). Is that still the case? Postgre SQL is recommended? We'll have about 15 users and 80 employees. Pretty basic, just keeping track of time sheets.

Thanks for your input. Dan

That is correct, MySQL is not recommended to use at all, and should never be used if you have more than 25 employees or employees in multiple timezones.
