I am extremely a novice with this application but absolutely love what it is helping our company to obtain. I would really like to start using the News Dashlet to get new policies out to my employees. Can anyone help me I have looked in help and if you type in news under the search it doesn't even come up with anything. Thanks!

The News dashlet is not a way to communicate with employees, its a way for TimeTrex itself to communicate with employees.
To communicate with your employees within TimeTrex you can use Messages which can be found by clicking My Account -> Messages
