not authorized to punch in from this station

My employees are receiving the message "not authorized to punch in from this station" when trying to clock in.
How do I remedy this situation?

Sounds like your wildcard station got modified or deleted somehow. To create a new one go to Company -> Stations, click the "New" icon, then set the following field values:
Description: All web browsers
Click the "Save" icon.
That should allow employees to punch in/out from a web browser again. You can test it yourself by clicking Attendance -> In/Out in the menu along the top of the screen.
