Net Pay doesn't match total of all pending or paid transaction

Hi

I'm trying to process a test payroll. I know I've supplied everything like employee's Wage, Schedule, Punches, Policy Groups, Pay Codes, etc.

However, upon editing the pay stub to enter Deductions, this message appeared upon saving:

"Net Pay doesn't match total of all pending or paid transaction."

Any idea what causes this issue or are there any parameters I still need to supply?

If you are editing the pay stub to add deductions, you are doing it wrong. The only time you should ever be editing a pay stub manually is in extremely rare circumstances where complex errors need to be corrected. When editing a pay stub directly, you are circumventing all automated calculations and take responsibility for those calculations yourself.

Thanks for the reply and correction.

Can you guide me then, how I could add deductions automatically to the pay stub without using Pay Stub Amendments?

Please bear with me for now as I'm still getting the hang of it.
