Scheduling

Hi,

I know there've been various threads on scheduling and updates are coming in v5.0. In the meantime, our managers are going "crazy" with scheduling and have found a package called 'whentomanage' that fulfills the flexibility that they need (drag and drop shifts to other workers, fill shifts functionality which provides listing of workers who could fill the open shifts without going into overtime, etc).

Will this type of functionality be included in 5.0? Is there a way to integrate that scheduling data into TimeTrex?

v5.0 will have many of those features, but not all. There is currently no out-of-the-box way to integrate the TimeTrex schedule module with other packages.

We are still going through the public beta testing stage, there is currently no scheduled release date yet.

Glad the scheduling is being improved as it does need some work. Its a bit odd to setup.
