UTF-8 support for system

Post by danielyma »

I have tried to input some double byte characters into the forms. The employee profile notes field seem to be OK, but some fields have checking against foreign characters. In other forms some of the characters turns into funny characters as it is not able to handle them.

Would the new release support double byte characters in the data? UTF-8 is the new Unicode standard for multiple languages.

For the system interface, we would gladly help to do some translation of the screens to a different language.

Regards
Daniel.

TimeTrex version 2.0 which we are looking to release in beta form sometime this month will support multiple languages out of the box.

It won't be perfect, but it should go along way to getting there.

We are definitely looking for people to help translate TimeTrex to different languages though, please email support@timetrex.com stating that you would like to help, and what languages you can translate to. Someone will get in touch with you shortly.
