Changing departments without punching out first - glitch?

We are experiencing an issue with Timetrex where some employees are punching in to a new department without punching out of the old one. This is leading to some incorrect timesheets. Is something that can be changed in an option somewhere? It seems like if you punch in to a different department, you should automatically be punched out of your previous one... Cant have people in two places at once.

Sounds like the employees aren't using the "Transfer" flag on the punch screen, without the transfer flag checked TimeTrex won't punch them out of the previous department.

OK, that makes sense - is there any way to dissalow them to switch without using the Transfer? I want to eliminate the possibility of this happening again.

Its impossible for TimeTrex to know if the employee is wanting to transfer between branches/departments if they aren't using the transfer flag. If it knew this it wouldn't need the transfer flag. ;)

You can default the transfer flag to always enabled in the permissions, then they just have to disable it for the last punch of the day.
