Messaging system doesnt work well. The Message is cut off

Is there any character count limit with timetrex messaging system?
I typed a lot of message and copied myself and this is what it looks like

Does it always get cut off at the same number of characters each time?

I dont think so, does it include spaces and line break?

TimeTrex itself would give you an error if the message is too short or too long, if its being cut off, either you using strange characters (which doesn't appear to be the case) or there is a setting with your installation or web browser that is causing the problem.

Can you try logging into our public demonstration and creating a large message to see if the same issue happens there?

I can view the whole message and it works fine when i try sending a test message in your demo site.
Also, when someone sends a message or missed a punch, it notifies me through my email. Thats a good thing but when i click the link, it goes to http://localhost/time/interface/

Maybe this is related.

Please help which file should i look at and hopefully we can identify what causes the issue.

It sounds like its a problem with the PHP installation on your server, based on your past message regarding installation issues and using a shared hosting provider, that is likely the cause and just one of the reasons why we don't support shared hosting environments.
