My Scenario
User A - Enters a request for missed punch, punch adjustment etc...
User A is in a hierarchy and approvals are done by User B
User B logs in and is notified there is a msg.
When trying to view the message they receive an error saying "Record Does Not Exist"
It only seems to be affecting requests, as a normal message between users can be read both way.
I am user community edition on site, v10.0.4-20170106-111818

However, I can reply as the supervisor (User B) and User A get notified of the reply and can read that msg, which also contains the original message. Weird

I haven't been able to replicate this issue yet, have you modified the permission groups from the default permissions at all?

Where would l go to modify the default permission groups?
Thanks for your help so far, if worst comes to worst, i'll perform a reinstall and see if the problem resurfaces

Have you made any changes under Company -> Permission Groups?

1. Completed quick start wizard
2. Created a branch, a department, a schedule template
3. Created 2 users
4. Created a hierarchy
Sent a msg from ajones to ndavies requesting absence (incl. Vacation)
ndavies gets notified of a new message when logging in, but cannot view the message, same error as posted above
My environment is Windows 7 sp1 64-bit, using postgresql database

Please call our support line and reference this forum thread, we would like to setup a screen sharing session with you so we can try and gather more information on how to replicate this issue, as we are still unable to do so.
