Hi,
I'm having an issue with the red warning bars. I initially had this error (possibly after modifying a hierarchy, but I can't be sure that's the root cause):
After viewing it has disappeared, but I still get red bars top and bottom:
I've tried importing the OPEN pay periods:
and logging in a out. All employees are assigned a schedule and a pay period.
Hopefully you can help!
Is there a way I can get more detailed information about errors so I can try and diagnose them myself a little better? Additional logging or something like that?
Is it possible to get the full error message again once the view has gone to thin red lines?
thanks in advance for your help.
Phil

Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned
What version of TimeTrex you are running, specifically. (stating "the latest version" is not specific enough)
What operating system and version you are running.
How did you install TimeTrex, using the automated executable installer, or the manual .ZIP file?

Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned
Ah, yes apologies, I should have listed these directly.
The version number is 11.3.1.
OS is MS Windows Server 2012 R2.
It was installed using the executable.
thanks again,
Phil

Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned
So you have two screenshots of the same employees timesheet on the same week, and one has the red error messages and one does not. So its not clear when the errors appear and when they go away, can you please provide more details around that?

Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned
Hi Mike,
unfortunately I can't see what is triggering the warning to appear. I logged in this morning and hadn't had it for a while and it's appeared again. However, once I clicked the refresh button it disappeared (although the red lines appear to be still top and bottom as if the warning is still there, but the details not visible). Once I've clicked something else it doesn't seem possible to see the details of that warning again no matter what else I click.
Is there anything else I can try to deal with this particular warning? All employees appear to be in a pay schedule and a pay policy group.

Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned
Ah, I've just noticed that on the schedule the statutory holiday and vacation (paid) are in red. Does that mean I've added them incorrectly perhaps?
Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned
The thin red lines are part of the UI, you will notice them on almost all list screens, such as Employee -> Employee or Attendance -> Exceptions.
Also on the schedule, all absences are displayed in red font, so that is normal too.
