Hi Folks,
I was wondering if any one can tell me what would be the best practice to set policy for hourly employee to have 20/hour for Monday-Sat and 35 euro for Sunday?
Thanks in advance
Hourly Rate + Sunday schedule payment
Re: Hourly Rate + Sunday schedule payment
Just to Elaborate what i want to do :
Employee X timesheet schedule 9-5 Monday, Tuesday , Saturday , Sunday
Employee Y timesheet schedule 9-5 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
I need to pay
Employee X - 27hr*20.00 + 9*35.00(sunday)
Employee Y - 36hr*20.00
Employee X timesheet schedule 9-5 Monday, Tuesday , Saturday , Sunday
Employee Y timesheet schedule 9-5 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
I need to pay
Employee X - 27hr*20.00 + 9*35.00(sunday)
Employee Y - 36hr*20.00
Re: Hourly Rate + Sunday schedule payment
The best method will depend on what the actual "rule" is that you are trying to accomodate, but in TimeTrex there are many ways to pay employees different rates, such as:
1. Schedule Policies can activate additional policies (ie: Regular Time Policy) for a specific shift. Based on that, different rates of pay can be used.
2. Overtime Policies can be activated just on Sundays to pay different rates of pay.
3. Premium Policies can also be activated just on certain days of the week.
Knowing what the actual rule is would help determine which method will make the most sense to use.

According to your request, the overtime policies just on Sundays will be the most convenient solution if you do not have other additional conditions.
