Wrong Time Recorded

Post by tshaw »

Ever since I upgraded to 2.1.0 RC4 when people go to log in of a morning, it is recording the time as +5 hours. It seems to be speradic in that it does not happen to everyone. It only seems to happen right around 8:00 AM when alot of people are clocking in. If you go ahead and clock in, it will clock you in at the incorrect time. If you click on the properties of that time, it shows at the bottom that the punch was added at the correct time (I have placed an screenshoot of this at http://www.cellular1.net/timetrex4.jpg). If don't clock in, refresh the page a couple of times, the correct time will show up for you to clock in. It may do it for someone one day and the next day show up the correct time.

I have double checked the time and the timezone on the server I have Timetrex running on and they match. The maintenance jobs are also running like they should.

Are you running Windows with IIS or Apache in threaded mode?

If so, this can often cause conflicts, I recommend using Apache in "process" mode, or FastCGI with Apache or IIS.

Yeah, you will most certainly want to switch to Apache in process mode, or get FastCGI working with II6.

Take a look at this thread:
