Can't change interface language after fresh installation

Post by tmsinergy »

Hello,

I cannot change the interface language after a fresh manual install from the ZIP on Linux Ubuntu Server. There is a very quick charging bar then the browser refresh once and the interface is still in English.

I already tried to install PEAR and to enable intl as suggested in those topics, without success :

viewtopic.php?t=2123
viewtopic.php?p=22579&hilit=lang#p22579

Impossible also to get the debug mode working no matter what I put in the timetrex.ini.php file. I cannot get any error message in the logs regardind the issue.

I followed the procedure to provide additional diagnostic information. Here’s the last 6 characters/numbers of my registration key :

3783c9

Could you please find a solution ?

Best regards

What language are you trying to use in TimeTrex?

Also, at the Ubuntu command line, please run the following and copy and paste the full output here:

Code: Select all

locale -a

Hello Mike,

Thanks for your answer.

I was trying to set TimeTrex in french.

Here was the full output of the command :

C
C.utf8
en_US.utf8
POSIX

I didn't know that TimeTrex languages were linked to system locales.
After installing the french language pack, it is working !

Code: Select all

apt-get install language-pack-fr
The interface is not fully translated though.

Thank you very much !
