Down For Maintenance - every day

Post by SleepIT1 »

Having a problem where the system is going down for maintenance daily at 12:50pm CDT (started last Wednesday). I haven't been able to figure out why so I loaded up a new (Debian) server, copied the database over and got it running. It's also doing the same thing every day at the same time so perhaps the problem is with the database? I tried to use Debug mode but was still getting very minimal logging in the logfiles.

Here's the last 6 characters from our registration key - be1a36

Thank you!

What version of TimeTrex are you using?

Just wondering, is there a specific reason you're still using a severely out-of-date and unsupported version of TimeTrex?

Not particularly. I do have a second server now that's on v16.12.8 with a day-old database that I plan to switch to once I get this resolved. Currently waiting until this afternoon to see if the problem repeats on the new server (it did yesterday but I wasn't 100% done with configuration).

I would definitely recommend updating and seeing if the problem persists. When copying the database from one server to another, it can take a day or two for maintenance jobs to correct themselves if there was a prior error occurring, which appears to be the case here.

Thanks! The problem did not persist on the new server today. I'll update the database again tonight and bring it online in place of the old one.
