Incorrect Input! Pay Period is Currently Locked, or Date/Tim

i have subscribed with the hosted version of timetrex and created all employees, i'm trying with a test user to punch in or out and i always get this error:
Incorrect Input!

Pay Period is Currently Locked, or Date/Time is incorrect.
why?
