Installing TimeTrex online & editing the php.ini file

Post by blacksmith »

I tried to setup TimeTrex online with my hosting provider, but it didn't succeeded.

Although my hosting is meeting the requirements such as Linux, MySql, and php, but still the problem of editing the php.ini file. My hosting doesn't allow to edit the php.ini file.

Editing the php.ini file is required for two reasons during installation:

1. to increase the memory limit to 128M.
2. to set magic_quotes_gpc to Off

Please advise on any hosting provider that allow editing the php.ini file. OR any way to overcome my problem with my current hosting provider.

Thanks very much.

Only your hosting provider will be able to help you get TimeTrex installed if you can't change the php.ini file.

Regardless, its not recommended to install TimeTrex on a shared hosting provider. While some do work, the vast majority do not.
