Incorrect Mass Punch Out

Hi Shaun,

When I was doing a mass punch-out for my employees on 12 Dec 2008 at 20:30, TimeTrex stamped on 11 Dec 2008 at 20:30 even though there is already a punch out at 20:30. In the end I got 2 punch outs on 11 Dec 2008. When I click on the incorrect 20:30 link on 11 Dec 2008, the details shows as 12 Dec 2008 20:30.

What do I need to look out for to solve this?

In your pay period schedule, what is the Maximum Shift Time and Minimum Time-Off Between Shift values set to?

Maximum Shift Time - 16:30
Minimum Time-Off Between Shift - 1:00

Those settings should be fine.

I'm unable to replicate the issue on our end, so we would need to get access to your TImeTrex installation to further troubleshoot whats going on.

To correct the problem, you can of course just delete the invalid punch and manually add it again from the timesheet.

Hi Shaun,

Fyi. I found out the problem. Employee Preferences - Time Zone should be set to Asia/Kuala_Lumpur instead of GMT +8.00.

Hi Shaun,

I spoke too soon. The problem still exists. I noticed that in the status report after I submittted indicated a different time to what is shown in the timesheet. For example,

Mass punch: IN 24-12-2008 @ 7:30
Status report: 23-12-2008 @ 23:30 (Success)
Timesheet: IN 23-12-2008 @ 7:30 -- hyperlink indicates 24-12-2008 @ 7:30

Is your timezone setting different then that of the employees that you are trying to enter punches for?
