Pay period prior is not closed

Hi
I just started using Timtrex community edition. Employees Company started this year and employees hired this year. I entered attendance for employee for ther period from Jan up till now and I Was trying to create pay stubs from the beginning of this year. I started with January. When I tried doing that I got an error message previous pay period not closed. This previous pay period is shown as December 31, 2021 from 0:0 to 11:59
I made sure that all hires and company start dates changed to January 3rd (I think all is changed now) still previous pay period that I need to close (Dec 31, 2021) still there and I am not able to generate paystubs.

How can I solve this.

Pay Periods must be processed and closed in order. So just close all pay periods before the first pay period you want to process payroll in.
