Mobile Kiosk Quickpunch Error

Yesterday at around 4:00pm CST 9/26/22, several of our mobile kiosks began not allowing users to punch. It either caught them in a loading loop after inputting their quickpunch ID and PIN or didn't advance screens at all after inputting their login. Restarting app/tablet did not resolve the issue. There were several users that were able to punch, but the majority got one of the above two issues. This continued until about 8:00am CST this morning 9/27/22. At that point there was no change they just began accepting punches for all employees again.

There were no changes to the system before this incident occurred. We had been using the mobile kiosks for 2 weeks before this and yesterday at 7:00am CST 9/26/22 was when we rolled it out to all employees and they began punching in the kiosks.

All tablets have the up to date version of timetrex mobile, there are no pending updates in the play store. Tablets remained connected to wifi and time is synchronized with time.android.com. The tablets are working as expected now, but I am trying to find out what happened so prevent it from occurring in the future as timeclocks being down for over 12 hrs is not ideal as we are a 24hr business.

Thank you for your post, however these forums are for the Community Edition of TimeTrex only, which does not include the TimeTrex mobile app.

Please email support@timetrex.com or call our support department at 1-800-714-5153 so we can better assist you that way instead.
