Pay Stub Amendments

Need help please.

I did a process payroll run for period December 11 to December 25. I went to Pay Stub Amendments to enter Bonus for the employees then proceed to print cheque stubs & the pay stubs Summary( and didn't go any futher).

I entered all the timesheets for the employees for this preriod go back to Generate Pay Stubs, and run the Pay Stubs, but no pay stubs for all the employees. I went back in Pay Stub Amendments, try to see If I could delete the Bonus for the employees, It said "Unable to delete a Pay Stub Amendment that is currently in use by a Pay Stub."

How to delete the Pay stub Amendments and re-process payroll to get the timesheets that I entered.

Were you attempting to do two separate payroll runs for the employees, one for the bonus and one for the regular worked time?

If you processed transactions (printed cheques) for the pay stubs, you can't re-generate them, as the cheque amounts would likely change. Therefore you would need to mark all the pay stub transactions as "Stop Payment" first, then you can delete/re-generate the pay stubs. Once the pay stubs are deleted, you can delete the pay stub amendments.

When running bonus/out-of-cycle runs, you can't use the Payroll Wizard for that, and its critical that you tell TimeTrex you are performing this type of payroll run, to avoid these issues.

I did go into Pay Stub Transaction, and change it to "Stop Payment", but it won't allow to change, it said "Status can only be changed from Pedning to Paid"

If the pay stub transactions are marked as pending, then they were never paid, so it shouldn't be a problem to delete/re-generate your pay stubs in that case.

I am in "pay Stub amendment", when into the employee, try to delete, keep get the message "Unable to delete a Pay Stub Amendment that is currently use by a Pay Stub"

I also try to change the fixed dollar to zero, it lets me changed, but when I went in to the employee, the amount didn't change.

In pay stub transaction, only allow edit but no delete.

You need to delete the pay stub that the pay stub amendment is included on before you can edit it.

The pay stub file is empty, I can't deleted anything.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Can you maybe provide screenshots showing your pay stub list and pay stub amendments? Also please include the full and exact TimeTrex version that you are using.

Can you please clear the search on the pay stub list and re-send the screenshot. If you can attach the screenshot full size, that would be helpful, as its too small to read currently.

I was able to clear the search and found the pay stub, able to deleted, regenerate the pay stub. Everything work now.
